FED:Defence makes Qld flood contribution
CANBERRA, Jan 11 AAP - The Australian Defence Force's flood assistance operation has
been boosted to nine aircraft and personnel from all three services.
Operation Flood Assist was set up on January 1 following widespread flooding across
central and southern Queensland.
Running the operation is Joint Task Force 637, based at the Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane,
commanded by Colonel Luke Foster.
