'TU' EDITORIAL CARTOONIST BABIN CITED IN NATIONAL COMPETITION.(Local)

Times Union cartoonist Rex Babin was amon the honorees who were to be announced today

in a national editorial cartoon competition.

Babin received an honorable mention in the 10th annual Fischetti Editorial Cartoon Competition, sponsored by Columbia College in Chicago.

His entries included three cartoons. One depicted conservative Chief Justice William Rehnquist rolling up a carpet marked "Individual Rights" behind a departing Justice Thurgood Marshall.
