Vic: Homes evacuated after gas leak

Seven homes have been evacuated in Melbourne's east this afternoon after road workers
ruptured a gas main.

A Country Fire Authority spokeswoman said the houses in Kelletts Road have been evacuated
as a precautionary measure.

She says the families won't be allowed home until the gas leak has been isolated.
